RED CABBAGE SLAW 
1 head white cabbage, grated or shredded
1 head red cabbage, grated or shredded
1 lg. onion, chopped fine
1 green bell pepper, chopped fine
2 or 3 carrots, grated

Mix all above ingredients and let set for 1 hour.

Combine: 2 tbsp. salt 2 tsp. celery seed 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. vinegar

Bring sauce to a boil and pour over vegetable mixture. Store in bowl with lid in refrigerator. Keeps 6 weeks.
