FETTUCCINE ALFREDO 
1 stick of butter
1 c. heavy cream
1 egg
1 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (16 oz.) bx. fettuccine or linguine noodles

Melt butter, turn off flame. Combine cream and egg in small bowl with wire whip. Boil noodles, drain and return to pot. Pour cream ingredients over noodles. Sprinkle all cheese and pepper and toss lightly. Save some cheese in a small bowl to be sprinkled on fettuccine at table. Serve immediately. Preparation - 15 minutes. Serves 4.
