SPAETZLE 
2 eggs
4 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. salt
Water
1/2 c. butter

Combine eggs, flour, salt and 1 1/2 cups water until smooth. Add 1/4 cup (about) to form a thick smooth mixture. Boil water in large kettle and press batter through a large hole colander or spaetzle maker. Boil 5 minutes - drain. In large skillet heat butter until lightly browned, but not burned. Add spaetzle and toss to coat well with butter. About 6 servings.
