BROILED BEEF (PUL KO-KEE) 
1 lb. beef
4 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. oil
6 tbsp. soy sauce
Speck pepper
1 green onion
1 clove garlic
4 tbsp. prepared sesame seed
1 tbsp. flour water

Cut the beef into thin slices 3-inches square. Add sugar and oil. Combine soy sauce, chopped onion (including top), chopped garlic, prepared sesame seed and flour. Add to the meat. Mix well.

Let stand 15 minutes. Broil on a charcoal fire, or fry in a small amount of oil until tender. If frying meat, cover tightly after it is well browned. Add a small amount of water and steam until meat is tender. Serve hot.
