ROSE PETAL POTPOURRI | |
When the rose begins to fade, snip the blossoms and carefully pull off the petals. Place petals on a sheet of newspaper to dry in a warm, well ventilated spot. Include a few leaves for color. Stir daily until petals and leaves are completely dry. Combine the following in mixing bowl: 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 tbsp. allspice 2 tbsp. orrisroot 1 tbsp. cloves 3 tbsp. cinnamon Fill a stone, porcelain or glass jar with alternate layers of petals and spices. Cover and sniff. For use in closets or drawers. |
