ROUND STEAK - SWISS 
1 1/2 lbs. round steak, 3/4 inch thick
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
2 tbsp. shortening
1 can Campbell's onion soup
1/2 c. ketchup
1 med. green pepper, cut into 8 strips

Combine flour and seasonings. Pound into meat with edge of heavy saucer. Brown meat in a skillet in shortening; pour off fat. Add soup and ketchup. Cover, cook over low heat 1 hour. Add green pepper. Cook 20 minutes more or until tender. Stir now and then. Serve with mashed potatoes.
