APPLE DUMPLINGS 
1 (12 oz.) can Buttermilk biscuits
1 small can Buttermilk biscuits
7 medium apples, peeled, cored and halved
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Flatten biscuits with hand. Wrap each biscuits around an apple half. Place side down in 2 greased 9 x 11 inch baking dishes. Combine sugar, water, butter and vanilla. Pour 1 2/3 cups into each pan. Sprinkle cinnamon over dumplings.

Bake uncovered at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown, and apples are tender. Serve warm.
