CRISCO POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. Crisco or 1 c. Crisco and 2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon flavoring (optional)
3 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Cream sugar and Crisco until light and creamy. Add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each. Add milk and vanilla flavoring. Sift all dry ingredients several times together. Add dry ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pour into waxed lined tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour, check with straw, you may need to cook a little longer. When done, remove from pan, remove waxed paper and wrap in foil to cool.
