FROSTED PECANS 
3 tbsp. butter
2 c. pecan halves
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

Place butter in 9 inch glass pie plate. Microwave on high for 45 seconds or until melted. Stir in pecans. Microwave on high 4 minutes, stirring midway through cooking. Combine sugar and spices and sprinkle a generous tablespoon over the top of nuts, reserving remainder of sugar mixture. Microwave 3 to 4 minutes or until toasted, stirring every minute. Spread the nuts on paper toweling and sprinkle remaining sugar mixture over the hot nuts. Let cool before storing in a tight container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
