CHEESE SOUP WITH POPCORN 
1 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. each diced carrot, celery & onion
1 tbsp. flour
1 c. each skim milk & water
1 packet instant chicken broth & seasoning mix
2 oz. each cheddar or American cheese, cubed & sliced turkey frankfurters
Dash each salt, pepper & paprika
2 c. prepared plain popcorn

In 2 quart saucepan heat butter until bubbly and hot. Add vegetables and cook, stirring frequently, until soft as desired. Sprinkle flour over vegetables and stir quickly to combine. Gradually stir in milk. Stirring constantly, add water and broth mix and bring just to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.

Add cheese and cook over low heat, stirring, until cheese is melted. Add frankfurters and seasonings and cook until heated through. Serve each portion of soup with 1 cup popcorn sprinkled on top. Makes 2 servings.
