CHEESE STRATTA 
8 to 10 slices bread, cubed without crust
1 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 pt. milk
6 eggs
2 tsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. butter
Dash of cayenne pepper

Grease 9 x 13 inch glass dish. Put bread on bottom, then cheese. Beat remaining ingredients together and add to bread and cheese. Dot with butter. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Cut into squares and serve with mushroom sauce.

SAUCE:

1/4 lb. mushrooms, sauteed in 2 tsp. butter

Add 1 can cream of mushroom soup. Heat. Add 2 tablespoons sour cream. Heat but do not boil. Serves 8.
