CRISP RED CABBAGE 
4 c. shredded red cabbage
2 med. apples, cored & cut into wedges
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

Place cabbage, apples, vinegar and brown sugar in saucepan over medium heat; mix well. Cover, simmer 10 minutes until cabbage is tender-crisp. Add salt and nutmeg; mix well. Serve warm.
