SOUTH OF THE BORDER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. lean ground beef
3 green onions, chopped, use all
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 c. sliced ripe olives
1 c. sour cream
1 c. small curd cottage cheese
1 to 1 1/2 (4 oz.) cans green chilies, chopped
6 to 9 oz. tortilla chips
2 c. grated Jack cheese

Saute' beef and onion. Add garlic salt, tomato sauce and olives. combine sour cream, cottage cheese and green chilies, in 2 1/2 quart buttered casserole. Layer chips, 1/2 meat and 1/2 sour cream and 1/2 cheese. Repeat. Bake at 350 degrees, 30 to 35 minutes.
