IRISH STEW | |
Put equal quantities of potatoes, onions and lamb, cut into large pieces, into a bean pot or casserole. Dissolve 2 beef bouillon cubes in 2 cups hot water. Add enough liquid to cover. Season with salt and pepper. Add 3 or 4 large bay leaves. Cook at 275 degrees for 2 hours. Add more liquid if necessary. Serve in broad bowls with Irish Soda bread on the side. |
