BAKED BEEF STROGANOFF 
2 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in 1/2" thick strips
1/4 c. olive oil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. dry red wine
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 box fresh mushrooms
1/4 c. tomato paste
3 tbsp. flour
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed consomme
1 clove minced garlic
1/2 c. sour cream
Hot buttered parsley noodles

Brown the meat quickly in oil. Then put the meat in 3 quart casserole dish. Add salt, pepper and wine. With the drippings in the frying pan, saute the onions until done, add the mushrooms and saute another 5 minutes.

Mix the tomato paste, flour, garlic and consomme. Then add mixture to the onions and mushrooms and pour over meat. Cover and bake for 1 hour or until the meat is tender at 350 degrees. Just before serving add the sour cream to casserole. Serve with hot buttered parsley noodles.
