WATERGATE CAKE AND FROSTING | |
1 box white cake mix 1 box instant pistachio pudding 1 c. minus 1 tbsp. vegetable oil 3 eggs 1 c. ginger ale 1/2 c. walnuts Mix all ingredients together. Beat at high speed with electric mixer for 4 minutes. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Cool completely and frost. FROSTING: Mix 1 package Dream Whip (2 envelopes), 1 box instant pistachio pudding, and 1 1/2 cups milk. Mix all ingredients together in deep bowl. Beat 5-6 minutes at high speed with electric mixer. Spread on cooled cake. Sprinkle with your choice of coconut, chopped maraschino cherries or finely chopped walnuts. |
