GINGER CRINKLES 
2/3 c. Wesson oil
1 c. sugar
1 egg
4 tbsp. molasses (light or dark)
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. granulated sugar for dipping

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix oil and sugar (1 cup) thoroughly. Add egg and beat. Stir in molasses. Sift dry ingredients together and add to mixture. Drop by teaspoons into sugar for dipping and form into balls coated with sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 3 inches apart. Cookies will flatten and crinkle. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
