SOUR CREAM CORNBREAD 
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. brownulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. dairy sour cream
2 tbsp. butter, melted

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease (or spray with non-stick cooking spray) an 8-inch or 9-inch square baking pan.

Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and milk together, then add the sour cream and butter. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and combine with a few swift strokes.
