GREEN BEANS IN MEAT AND TOMATO
SAUCE LUBYEE BI LAHAM
 
1 lb. fresh green beans
1 lb. lamb meat in chunks
1 tbsp. butter
3 med. onions, sliced
2 c. water
1 1/2 c. fresh tomatoes or 4 1/2 c. tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Fry the meat in 1 tablespoon butter. Brown well. Add onions, brown. Wash green beans, string and cut in half. Pour over meat, onions, and stir and fry and put 2 cups water and tomatoes and salt and allspice and pepper. Cover and simmer for approximately 30 minutes. Serve over rice.
