2 sticks butter
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3 1/3 to 4 c. flour (Sifted 2 times before measuring)

Cream butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and mix well. Add flour, salt, and flavor and mix well. Roll on floured surface and cut out with cookie cutter.
