DEER STEW 
1 lb. boneless deer meet
2 tsp. salt
4 lg. carrots, chopped
4 lg. potatoes, quartered
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
3 med. whole onions
1 c. tomatoes or juice
Dash of red peppers
Parsley, sweet basil

Brown meat thoroughly in the oil until brown. Add quartered onions, cut up carrots and tomatoes, spices. Simmer for 2 to 3 hours; add potatoes and cook for 1 more hour. If extra liquid is needed during cooking, add tomato juice.
