CHEESE BROCCOLI SOUP 
3 c. frozen broccoli
1/3 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
1 can chicken broth
1 c. American cheese
1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard

Cook together the broccoli, onion and water until tender. Melt butter on medium heat; add slowly to mix well. Add salt and pepper. Slowly add milk; cook on medium heat until smooth, stirring constantly. Add chicken broth and American cheese. Continue cooking until melted. Add prepared mustard. Add mixture to the cooked broccoli and onions. Continue cooking until all blended.
