CREAM CANDY 
6 c. sugar
1 pt. whipping cream
1 c. boiling water
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients; stir until dissolved. Place on heat and stir. Do not stir after mix starts to boil. Cook to 258°F. Pour onto a buttered marble slab; roll and cut with scissors into pieces.
