CABBAGE SLAW 
1 head cabbage, shredded
1 large onion, shredded
1 green pepper, shredded
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
1 cup vinegar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon celery seeds
1 tablespoon salt

Put cabbage, onions and pepper in a bowl in order of ingredients. DO NOT STIR. Sprinkle sugar on top. Bring oil, vinegar, mustard, celery seed and salt to a boil. Pour over above. DO NOT STIR. Let sit overnight. Stir and serve. Can be kept in the refrigerator for several weeks.
