LADY FINGERS 
Cream 1 cup butter with 1/3 cup sugar. Add 2 teaspoons vanilla, 2 teaspoons water and 2 cups sifted flour. Stir in 1 cup chopped pecans. Roll into balls or fingers. Bake on ungreased pan slowly until firm and set. 325 degrees. Cool slightly; roll into powdered sugar.
