DANISH PUFF 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. water

1/2 c. butter
1 c. water
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. flour
3 eggs
Frosting (can of vanilla)
Chopped walnuts (almonds or walnuts)

Cut butter into flour until evenly blended. Add water and work with fork to blend evenly. Roll into a ball and divide in half. Pat each 1/2 into a strip, 12 x 3 inches, on an ungreased cookie sheet. Strips should be 3 inches apart.

Bring butter and water to a rolling boil. Add extract. Remove from heat. Stir in flour immediately until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing until smooth after each addition. Spread evenly over each of the 2 strips on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes or until top is crispy and brown. When cool, frost and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
