EASY YEAST ROLLS 
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. boiling water
1 pkg. yeast
1 egg
1/2 c. warm water
3 c. flour

In deep bowl, mix shortening, salt and sugar. Pour boiling water over this. Stir until dissolved and cool. Mix yeast with warm water. Add to first mixture. Add egg and beat. Add flour to make a stiff dough. Refrigerate, covered, overnight. Next day, form dough in desired sizes with biscuit cutter or by hand. Dip in melted butter and place in pan. Let rise for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Bake 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. 2 dozen rolls.
