SQUASH IN WHITE SAUCE KOOSA 
1 lb. squash, cut in slices
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1 qt. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Bread crumbs
Grated cheese

Fry squash sliced in butter and oil. Drain in paper towels. Arrange in baking dish. Prepare sauce: melt butter; add flour gradually. Cook about 3 minutes. Gradually add milk. Sir continuously to keep sauce smooth. Add salt and pepper. Pour sauce over squash. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
