BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 (1 lb.) round steak, sliced thin
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 c. thick sour cream
Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. Worcestershire
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
1 sm. box rice or 1 pkg. noodles
1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can condensed tomato soup

Cut meat into 3/4 inch cubes, dredge with flour, season with salt and pepper. Brown meat in shortening, add onions, mushrooms and garlic.

Combine sour cream, soup, sauces and green pepper. Pour over meat. Cover and cook over high heat until steaming. Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes. Serve over rice or noodles.
