3 c. Red Band flour (all-purpose)
3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 1/4 c. sheet milk
5 eggs

Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each one. Sift flour and baking powders together. Alternate adding flour mixture and milk. Mix well. Add vanilla. Pour into a well greased and floured tube pan. Start in a cold oven. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Sift flour and baking powders together.
