BARBECUED MEAT LOAF | |
1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef 1 c. fresh bread crumbs 1 onion, finely chopped 1 egg, beaten 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1/2 c. water 3 tbsp. vinegar 3 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. prepared mustard 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Combine beef, crumbs, onion, egg, salt, pepper and 1/2 can tomato sauce; form into loaf and put into shallow 7 x 10-inch pan. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over loaf. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes, basting occasionally. |
