ROXANNE'S MEATLOAF | |
2 lb. lean ground beef 1 tsp. dried parsley 1/4 tsp. sweet basil 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 med. onion, chopped 2 beaten eggs 1/4 lb. saltine crackers, crushed 1/2 c. grated cheese (American or Cheddar) 1 sm. can of tomato sauce (reserve 1/2 for topping) Mix all ingredients well, reserving 1/2 can of tomato sauce for topping. Press into loaf pan and bake for 1 hour in 350 degree oven. No additional salt is needed because of salt on crackers. |
