GREEN CHILI CORN BREAD 
In large bowl, beat with electric mixer until well blended:

3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 c. yellow corn meal
6 tbsp. sugar

Add, beating well after each 4 large eggs.

In small bowl, mix together and add to batter, stirring well:

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Fold into batter:

1 (15 oz.) can cream-style corn
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, diced
1/3 c. Cheddar cheese, packed, grated
1/3 c. Monterey Jack cheese, packed, grated

Pour into lightly oiled 9 inch baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees (preheated). Time - about 45 minutes (test). Cool and cut into squares. SO-O Light!
