Easy Bran Muffins - Recipe

EASY BRAN MUFFINS

1 box Jiffy Bran muffin mix
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. applesauce
1/3 c. raisins

TOPPING:

1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. shortening
2 tbsp. honey

1. Mix muffin mix, milk, applesauce, egg and raisins.

2. Cream butter, brown sugar and honey and coat the muffin cups.

3. Put the batter on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-17 minutes. Remove from pan while hot.

Both recipes are on the sides of the box; Bee Hives and Harvest Muffins, I combined them.
