CHOCOLATE CHIP CHEESECAKE
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened (do not substitute)
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. chocolate chip morsels
2 (8 oz.) cream cheese
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars and vanilla; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Pat down half of mixture on the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan, reserving other half for top.

Mix together cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Pour over dough mixture in pan. With remaining flour mixture, pat out and cut shapes with small cookie cutter. Place on top of cream cheese mixture until top is randomly covered.

Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned and cheesecake mixture is set.
