QUICKIE FRUIT COBBLER 
1 c. sugar
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
1 stick butter
1 can fruit in syrup (peaches, cherries, etc.)

Mix sugar and flour together, then add melted butter and milk. Pour into a baking dish at least 2 inches deep. Spoon fruit over batter. Bake at 350 degrees until brown, about 35 minutes. Use toothpick test to make sure center dough is done.
