VINEGAR PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 c. water
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. vinegar
Lemon extract
Dash of nutmeg

Mix sugar and flour in boiling water. Add butter and cook until thick. Add vinegar, egg yolks, extract and nutmeg. Pour into cooked pie shell. Cover with meringue made of stiffly beaten egg whites and 6 tablespoons sugar. Brown for 15 minutes at 325 degrees.
