SAVORY SUPPER BAKE | |
Drain 3 cans Limagrande lima beans. Pour drained beans into a 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish. 1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. milk 1 c. soft bread crumbs 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. rosemary 1 tsp. Worcestershire Shape into small meat balls and brown. Place over the beans. Brown 2 cups sliced onions in skillet, add 1 can tomato juice, 1 can tomato sauce and heat. Pour over the contents of casserole and top with 1/2 inch cubes of cheddar cheese. Place bacon strips over top of all then bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. |
