2 lbs. hamburger 1 c. dry rice, not Minute Rice 1 onion finely chopped Salt and pepper Garlic Mix and knead together. 1 head of cabbage, boil 15 minutes. Put in pan 2 large cans of kraut and remaining cabbage, and onion slices. Take cooked cabbage leaves and roll hamburger and rice stuffing up in them, place in pan. Add water to cover. Brown flour in cast iron pan to a dark brown color on high heat. Mix into liquid. Cook on top of burner for 1 1/2 hours. |
