SWEET/SOUR BEETS | |
1 (1 lb.) bunch fresh beets 1 c. water 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. honey 1 tbsp. vinegar Wash, peel and thinly slice beets and place in medium-sized casserole. Add water and salt. Cover. Put on bottom shelf of oven at 375 degrees for 50 minutes. Remove and drain. Mix butter into beets. When butter is melted, mix in honey and vinegar. Serve immediately. |
