CUCUMBER SALAD 
6 lg. cucumbers
1 med. onion, cut in rings
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pickling spice

Cut cucumber and onions in a sealing bowl. Add sugar, vinegar, salt and spice. Add a few dashes of black pepper. Add enough water to cover cucumbers. Seal with a lid. Let stand in refrigerator overnight.
