INDIANA DATE PUDDING 
2 c. brown sugar
3 c. water
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. milk
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 c. dates

Boil the brown sugar and water for 3 minutes. Pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Mix together the sugar and butter, then add milk, flour, baking powder, chopped nuts and diced dates. Spoon batter mixture by spoonfuls into water/brown sugar mixture.

Bake at 350°F until brown on top.

Cool and serve with Cool Whip.
