IRISH CREAM BROWNIES | |
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1/2 c. Irish cream liqueur 2 sq. (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate (melted) 1 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Add liqueur, vanilla and chocolate; blending well. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and walnuts. Combine well. Turn into greased 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack. To serve, cut into 2 inch squares. Makes 16. |
