MICHIGAN ROCK COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 lb. brown sugar
1 lb. walnuts, unshelled
1/2 box raisins, boiled
3 c. flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 sm. bag chocolate chips
2 tbsp. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda in 2 tbsp. hot water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon

Remove nuts from shell. Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs. Add cooled raisins. Sift dry ingredients. Add milk and baking soda. Add nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 or 12 minutes.
