STICKY CHICKEN | |
1/2 cup vinegar 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup soy sauce 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 tbsp. minced fresh ginger 2-3 pounds chicken thighs and drumsticks Combine first 3 ingredients in shallow baking pan. Arrange chicken in dish in a single layer. Turn to coat well. Marinate 1/2 hour. Transfer chicken to large, heavy skillet. Add garlic and ginger and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes. Turn occasionally. Uncover and simmer until chicken is tender. Remove chicken; reduce sauce. Sauce will become sticky. Return chicken to sauce. Serve. |
