SPICY MEAT LOAF 
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 can (16 oz.) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1 1/2 c. picante sauce
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Combine meat, beans, 1 cup of the picante sauce, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, eggs, cumin and salt. Mix well. Press into 9x5 inch loaf pan. Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Carefully pour off drippings. Combine remaining 1/2 cup picante sauce and brown sugar; mix well. Spread over surface of meatloaf. Bake 15 minutes more. Let stand 10 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
