MY MOTHER'S DESSERT | |
1 pkg. (7 1/2 oz.) vanilla wafers 16 lg. marshmallows 1 c. sweetened condensed milk 1 pkg. lemon Jello 1 c. boiling water 1 sm. can crushed pineapple, drained Day before serving, pour condensed milk over the marshmallows and let stand overnight. Line 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan with vanilla wafers. Beat milk mixture until fluffy. Mix Jello with boiling water and chill until thick as syrup; add pineapple and fold in milk mixture. Pour into crust and chill until set. Serve topped with whipped cream or Cool Whip. |
