HAMBURGER SOUP 
2 lbs. ground round
46 oz. tomato juice
2 tsp. crushed basil
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 c. sliced carrots
16 oz. can green beans, undrained
16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
6 1/2 oz. can minced clams, undrained
2 tsp. oregano
2 tbsp. dried onion
1 bay leaf
2 c. chopped celery
1 sm. cabbage, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown meat; drain fat. Combine all ingredients in 10-quart soup pot. Cook 2 hours.
