BANANA PUDDING 
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
Vanilla wafers
6 very ripe bananas

Combine sugar, flour, salt and milk in top of double boiler stirring constantly until thickened. Then cook uncovered 15 more minutes stirring occasionally. Beat egg yolks and stir into hot mixture. Return to double boiler and cook 5 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Put one layer of vanilla wafers in casserole dish, then one layer of bananas, then pour on some sauce. Continue with layers ending with sauce on top.
