UNIQUE PRETZELS 
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
Sesame seeds or coarse salt

Measure warm water into large bowl. Sprinkle on yeast and stir until looks soft. Add salt, sugar and flour. Mix and knead dough until soft and no longer sticky. Give each child a small ball of dough, about the size of an egg. Roll the dough between the palms of hands or on table until its a long snake.

Twist the roll into a pretzel, letters, numbers or any other shape. Grease cookie sheets. Place twisted pretzels or designs on cookie sheets. Brush pretzels with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or salt. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until the pretzels are golden. Let cool completely before handling.
